If you don’t need it all

We have the solution. Sometimes our guests do not need a home that sleeps up to 25. In this case we may be able to accommodate you as the house has the unique ability to be split into two, the Front and the Back. We do once or twice a year. Sometimes we are staying at the house ourselves, sometimes it is just a couple or small family already booked. Most often it is in the spring and the fall. When my father renovated the house in 1955 he set the house up so that it could be done this way.

Guests get the use of all outside spaces and amenities including the large back yard, bicycles, grill and driveway.

Here is how it works: The house gets divided on the first floor at the “Passage To Back” between the front kitchen and the back kitchen. Yes we have two complete kitchens in the house. On the second floor the house typically gets divided to the right of the Middle Room although it can be divided further back to increase the accommodations from 15 to 18. The third floor can be divided to provide accommodations for none, two, three or five. Below is how it typically works when I rent out just the front.

Inquire about this option: It is unusual and so requests for this option must be done through email. Generally only dates that are open on our calendar are available for this option.
